Kate also has a special visit to make in Boston. She will visit the Center for the Developing Child at Harvard University, which is a world leader in research into the lifelong impact of early childhood experiences.

The Princess is Royal Patron of the UK Maternal Mental Health Alliance, as well as Action For Children and several other family and child-focused charities.

William and Kate are not believed to be using this US visit to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but the California couple will also be on the East Coast just days after the prince and princess arrive from Britain. .
