The scene for Jersey Shore’s 2023 summer beach music festival just got a lot clearer ahead of the holidays.
Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn were announced Tuesday, Nov. 29, as headliners for the second annual TidalWave Music Festival, set for August 11-13 on the beach in Atlantic City.
Also performing will be Cooper Alan, Priscilla Block, Lindsay Ell, Randy Houser, Corey Kent, Dustin Lynch, Jo Dee Messina, Jelly Roll, Lily Rose, Dylan Scott, Nate Smith, Cole Swindell, Mitchell Tenpenny, Hailey Whitters, DeeJay Silver and more . . Tickets start at $259 and pre-sales begin Tuesday, December 13th, with general public sales beginning Friday, December 16th.

Meanwhile, organizers of indie rock festival Frantic City, which also debuted in AC last year, have said their festival is returning in 2023.
The Instagram account cryptically posted a photo of the 1980 album ‘Frantic City’ by Canadian punks Teenage Head with the caption: ‘Planning another visit to Frantic City soon. Keep an eye on this page for details.”

Yo La Tengo, Snail Mail, Bouncing Souls, Rocket from the Crypt, funnyman Fred Armisen and more played the inaugural Frantic City on September 24 at the Orange Loop Amphitheater, one block from the ocean on South New York Avenue. Visit franticcitynj.com for more information.
Also in Atlantic City, Blink-182 and Paramore will headline the inaugural pop-punk and emo-themed adjacent music festival May 27 and 28 on Atlantic City Beach. Turnstile, Coheed and Cambria, Japanese Breakfast, Jimmy Eat World, Wheatus, Idles and Beach Bunny are also scheduled to perform. There will be a big presence in Jersey with Thursday, Midtown, Bleachers, Front Bottoms, Folly and LS Dunes featuring My Chemical Romance’s Frank Iero.
