Star Tassie sprinter leads the way in Tasmania’s Newmarket

Dynamic first-place winner The Inevitable is favorite with Ladbrokes for the Tasmanian Newmarket (1200m) this Wednesday evening at Launceston.

There was some question about whether this Scott Brunton-trained gelding had passed him, but he put the question to bed with a job at first win at Hobart. Fitter and up to 1200m, he looks hard to beat. He sits at $3.10, up from $2.90, but is holding the call.

Stablemate First Accused is on the second betting line at $5.50 and dominates the betting, with Newhart next best at $9.
