A nutritionist questioned Prince William during a November 24 visit to Newquay Orchard
While visiting Newquay Orchard in Cornwall, England on Nov. 24, the Prince of Wales shared some details about what he eats in a day. William asked staff to “say how unhealthy I am”, during a nutrition session which included a quiz from nutritionist Monique Hyland.
“He was a little nervous at first when I asked him what he ate yesterday,” Hyland said (via Cornwall Live ). William “was fine to begin with as he had a healthy breakfast. But then he admitted that someone brought him a “trash sandwich” for lunch. And he had a chocolate brownie and a glass of red wine.”
“He said all things in moderation,” Hyland added before noting that he jokingly “meant to say it’s very subjective.” However, she “already pushed him to ask what he ate.”
Prince William admitted drinking tea because Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ‘keep’ him up at night
As he listed everything he had eaten, William explained why he had several cups of tea. Three reasons to be exact. His and Kate’s children George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4.
William, 40, told the nutritionist he drank a few cups of tea for caffeine because “the kids keep me up at night.”
He said he started his day off with two eggs, toast with butter, apple juice and a cup of tea with milk and sugar. Although, it seems that one cup of tea was not enough. He had more later in the day, along with the aforementioned “garbage sandwich.”
Prince William puts Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to bed with David Attenborough documentaries

When it comes to bedtime for his children, William doesn’t rely on a favorite book or toy, but rather on documentation.
He once told BBC Radio 4 Today that he would put on a David Attenborough documentary for George, Charlotte and Louis when it was time for them to settle down for the evening.
“It’s amazing at bedtime when I can round up the kids, just shouting ‘We’re going to watch one of David’s documentaries’ and they flock,” explained William. “It’s the easiest way to grab my kids and get them ready for bed.”
Climate change is also keeping Prince William up at night
As well as George, Charlotte and Louis keeping him from sleeping, climate change is keeping William up at night. During a guest spot on Outrage + Optimism podcast, the 40-year-old said he is “outraged by the inaction” surrounding climate change to the point where he is losing sleep.
“I feel like I can do a lot more if I have this skill,” he said. “So, so, I don’t understand why those who have the levers, no. I think that really upsets me and keeps me up at night.”
