Golden State Warriors vs Dallas Mavericks Prediction
The Warriors have finally won some road games after a miserable start, and there’s a chance they can continue their good form tonight in Dallas. Steph Curry has been continuously on fire for Golden State, and now the likes of Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney are starting to follow suit. There’s no doubt the Mavs’ raucous crowd will be against the Warriors, but Golden State looks good to take the W.

The experts’ picks between the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks
We have 2 noted NBA picks for tonight’s game between the Warriors and the Mavericks.
Warriors vs Mavericks Score Pick: Warriors -2 (-110)
Golden State just beat Minnesota on the road at Target Center. It might not sound like a title, but it was just the second time the Warriors won on the road this season. Now they’re off to Dallas to play the team they knocked out of the playoffs in the spring. Steph Curry is having another great season, averaging 31 points per game. Meanwhile, Andrew Wiggins matches him in 3PTFG% at 44%. And he earns his money.
Luka Doncic is the only player to score more per game than Curry so far this season. He is having an MVP season averaging 33/8/8. Still, he’s been below average in 3 of his last 4 games, so you have to wonder if maybe he’s struggling to shoulder too much of the scoring burden with Jalen Brunson now in New York. Dallas is 3rd in the NBA in points allowed, but a lot of that has to do with the pace at which they play.
The Warriors are 2-9 SUATS on the road this season. Surprisingly, there were also some load management situations in there. That doesn’t seem to be the case for this game and Golden State is favored. Coming off their best road win of the season, I like the momentum from the Warriors. This is a small spread, so all he has to do is win in this spot. Luka probably scores more than Steph, but Curry has a lot more support.
Warriors vs Mavericks Total Over/Under Pick: Under 225.5 (-110)
This is the first game these teams have played since they met in the playoffs last spring. In that series, the over was 3-2 and all totals were settled lower than it is. You can’t read too much into those playoff results, so be careful if you look at any trend data. Dallas is a good defensive team this season and I think they play with less pace than they did a year ago, so the sub looks good on Tuesday night. Golden State, who scored 137 points in their last game, helps create a buying opportunity for the sub.
