Luxury Travel Magazine unveils first print issue after being acquired by Indesign Media Group

Indesign Media Group will launch the first printed issue of Luxury travel magazine since acquiring Luxury Travel Media earlier this year. The digital-first media company firmly believes that the stronger it is in digital, the healthier its print offering – and travel consumers and the industry still love the tactile experience of a luxury print magazine.

With contributions from some of Australia’s most respected travel writers, the magazine focuses on ‘the best of luxury travel’, focusing on the new definition of modern luxury and three intrinsic pillars of today’s luxury movement: authenticity, design and durability.

With 10,500 issues in circulation, this very special reimagining of the much-loved magazine takes culturally curious readers on authentic luxury journeys around the world, from epicurean journeys through New Zealand’s Marlborough to Cloudy Bay to exploring the island culture of Fiji and the cities of Porto, Singapore. and the cultural metropolis of Doha.

Editor Katrina Holden’s story looks at the changing definition of luxury and what it means for travelers, while Susan Skelly takes readers on a journey through Switzerland. Sally Macmillan explores the best in luxury cruising. Catherine Marshall goes on safari in Zambia, Ute Junker delves into some of the world’s best design resorts and Craig Tansley explores the world’s best luxury adventure travel.

The new-look magazine will also cover the best of luxury train travel and what it offers passengers, as well as some of the world’s best wellness experiences. It explores the architecture behind a new luxury property on Lizard Island and a new resort in the coastal jungles of Bali.

Indesign has revived the much-loved Suite Life reviews with a look at apartment stays in Sydney, Budapest and Milan and features industry pioneers and leaders throughout the magazine.

And after a hiatus of nearly four years, Luxury Travel Magazine’s annual Gold List Awards will return in 2023. The reader-voted Gold List Awards, first established in 2005, celebrate and recognize the best five-star resorts and hotels in the world, luxury rail transport. travel, cruises, airlines and premium tour operators.

With each issue, we’ll provide an in-depth look at the best luxury travel so our readers can make informed decisions about their vacation and travel plans,” added Holden.

The new Luxury travel magazine will hit newsstands on December 1, 2022.
