Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is well known for the history of horse racing in Northern Kentucky, and after two years of rebuilding the track, is excited to welcome back live racing fans on Wednesday, November 30, with the first post scheduled for 6:00 p.m. 15.
The 19-day holiday meeting covers a five-week period with live racing from Wednesday – Saturday until December 31, with the exception of a switch from Saturday, December 10 to Sunday, December 11, and no racing on Christmas Eve. , Saturday, Dec. 24
The first post-time on Wednesday-Friday is at 18:15, and the Saturday racing schedule will start at 12:45.
Turfway Park will feature four Stakes Races, each worth $125,000, during the holiday meeting. These include: the 36th Holding the holiday opening on December 3, 34th Running The My Charmer on December 11, 27th Running The Prairie Bayou on December 17th and 29thth Running The Gowell Stakes on December 31st.
Maiden special weight races are worth $70,000 and allowance races range from $72,000 to $80,000.
On Friday, December 2, to celebrate the return of Live Racing, Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is hosting Legacy Night from 6pm to 11pm. Known for its $1 Friday Night Specials and $1 Hot Dog Specials, Turfway Park has partnered with Braxton Brewing Company to create the perfect tribute to tradition. Braxton designed and brewed the new Legacy Lager, which will be available exclusively at Legacy Night at Turfway Park.
Not only is Turfway Park bringing back its highly anticipated $1 Drafts and $1 Hot Dogs, Legacy Night will also feature a free live performance from the Naked Karate Girls, also known as The best party in the galaxy™. Legacy Night will be hosted in the Event Center. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to enter the game room.
