Lauren Jauregui discussed many important topics during her Instagram live
Recently, the More than that The singer took to her Instagram page to spill the beans on a few topics. She did a live session on Instagram where she shed some light on several significant topics. “Just some late night thoughts. Existential crisis in the bathroom. Feel free to share yours🤍✨,” she simply captioned the video.
Lauren started the Instagram live by saying, “I haven’t told anyone I’m coming, so I’m not expecting anyone to come, but I’ve been thinking and this thought has come to me a lot.”
The Back to me the singer went on to say, “And I think I wanted to share it, but I don’t want to share it in short form or in such a way that things can get cut off or like me. I just want to like the stream of consciousness. to think out loud more and I thought why not do it on a live right. Because we should do that on the internet.”
She said: “I often have these conversations with myself, but I felt like sharing it today. So I’ve been on Twitter now and you know on these social media sites I see a lot of different things, a lot of different debates all the time when I look. I love watching people talk to each other in the comment sections, the way people debate things the way they talk about things because I feel like there’s so much truth that comes out through the dialogue.”
Lauren shed light on the narrative and patriarchy of men versus women
The Expectations The crooner further added, “One thing I always notice is how we always talk about the male versus female narrative. And I see all kinds of a wide range of expressions. I participate in a lot of thoughts myself, the collective thoughts that we all have, but I feel like you know this binary that exists for us right now tends to take us away from truths because a lot of things because we tend to choose a part.”
Lauren went on to say, “We’re losing our nuance and I feel like one of the things that I’m like shaking weirdly, one of the things that really comes to me when I think about it is how statistically men are exponentially more violent than women not? Like you just have to look around. You have to look in your family, look around, look in the neighborhood.”

Lauren believes that emotional immaturity is the root cause of patriarchy
The I’m in love with a monster the singer continued: “Watch the news, don’t watch the news, listen to local people talk about their experiences to understand that this is partially true because it is true, but patriarchy to me is more of an issue and I think patriarchy creates emotions. immaturity and that emotional immaturity to me is the root cause of so much of this pain that we all experience.”
Lauren said: “And I say emotional immaturity because I feel like when patriarchy takes over when people break into these gender binaries and become what a man is or become what a woman is, they have roles that they have to support correctly. And by adopting these roles, they deny themselves parts of their truth.”

She explained: “And when we suppress their emotions, which they are inclined to do much more than women, as society is organized, they are more inclined to reveal their truths, more inclined not to talk about their feelings , which then, of course, creates volatile mental health situations, and they are also required to have no empathy.”
The pop star said: “They are told empathy is weak. Um and the things that make you meet overly emotional women. In essence, for me it is also maturity. Right? The requirement of emotional intelligence to be able to understand everything that is happening all the time. Let’s interpret people’s feelings before we really know them. You know before you even have a conversation.”
Lauren added, “And I feel like all of that is harmful to women or the feminine, and again, we’re talking about binaries right now. I don’t understand that by weird there is a bunch, but I am right in the way it is expressed. I’m specifically talking about how this is the head of the narrative. And how much of that drives society, whether we’re gay or not.”
She went on to say, “You know what I’m saying? These narratives are what I feel perpetuate, you know conservative Republican thinking, right? I mean keeping a family unit, which is keeping the binary, which is keeping these ideas, and I feel that the emotional immaturity that we all, myself included, so often display has to do with the amount of feelings that are suppressed instead of being felt whether those feelings are positive or negative.”

Lauren added: “Quoting another binary, you know what I mean, feelings are feelings and they’re all temporary as long as you let yourself feel them, as long as you let yourself experience them, express them in one way or another properly , so if we have a bunch of volatile people running around who don’t know how to express their feelings or don’t feel safe expressing their feelings or their needs because we’re living in this tense state of existence right now where I’m asked many women. and listen to the call with energy to move into their truth and not allow people to gaslight them.”
