Queen of the jungle Jill Scott has nominated ‘fellow Mackem’ Jordan Henderson to be the next football star to enter the I’m A Celebrity camp.
Lioness Jill tipped off the Sunderland-born Liverpool and England star when she appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain to chat to hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls about her time in the jungle. She admitted her victory still hadn’t sunk in this morning after expressing disbelief when Ant and Dec announced their victory in Sunday night’s final.
The GMB presenters asked the star a cheeky question, asking what she missed most during her time in the jungle – her fiancee Shelly or the World Cup. “Don’t get me into trouble!” Jill joked, before saying she missed Shelly more – although she admitted she ‘begged’ I’m A Celeb producers for scores while she was in camp.

As host Ed Balls asked which of England’s players should sign up for the jungle next year, Jill replied: ‘I don’t think they’ll have time off to go to the jungle – but Jordan Henderson, fellow Mackem.
“I think he’s got a strong mentality, so yeah – let’s put him in the jungle. But only once he retires”.

While Susanna Reid commented that Jill looked ‘very different’ to how she was at camp, appearing on GMB wearing a strapless dress and hoop earrings, the star joked: ‘It took two showers and two baths just to smell half. -decent.”
Asked what she would do next after her win, Jill said: “I don’t have a plan – once I retired I should have had a plan, so that’s how I ended up in the jungle, so talk.
“I actually don’t know what I’m going to do next. But I feel like if you give it your all every day and try to be a good person, then we’ll see what happens.”
Jill continued to receive an outpouring of love from fans on social media who praised her kindness and motivation. “You are a nice person and you deserve your win. I have never seen someone with such a positive outlook that inspires others around you,” one viewer told Jill on Twitter.
Another added: “Jill, I think you are such a kind and generous person. Well done.”

Another gushed: ‘Congratulations Jill, what an amazing contestant you were – so genuine and honest. Absolutely brilliant”.
