I’m A Celebrity winner Jill Scott speaks out after leaving the jungle | Reality TV

Jill Scott has opened up about her win on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

It was the sports star who won I’m A Celebrity 2022 in last night’s final, with TV star Owen Warner runner-up and MP Matt Hancock third.

Jill joined Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on Good Morning Britain today to talk about her time on the show.

Jill was crowned queen of the jungle

She said: “It was really hard at times but I think that cyclone challenge, it was like being a little kid on a massive inflatable again! I think I threw myself into everything and tried to make the most of an incredible experience.”

When asked what she missed more about her fiancee Shelly or the current World Cup, Jill hilariously replied: “Don’t get me in trouble, it’s got to be Shelly and obviously my family and friends, but I’ve missed the games since the World Cup, so a lot.

“Me and Owen were begging for the scores and then the day we had a popsicle and the scores were revealed on the stick, it was one of the best days in the jungle.”

Jill went on to share who in the current England men’s squad she thinks would make a good jungle mate: “Jordan Henderson, Macam’s mate, has a strong mentality so let’s put him in the jungle but just once what withdraws.”

Susanna asked if Jill had any plans to go into TV presenting and if she would even consider hosting Good Morning Britain, Jill replied: ‘It took two showers and two baths just to smell halfway decent.

“I do not have any plans. Once I retired, I should have had a plan, so that’s how I ended up in the jungle. But I think your job is very secure!”

Speaking about Matt Hancock, Jill shared: “To be fair, he ruined trials, so as long as he was feeding us I was happy.”

Number four Mike Tindall also appeared on the show, saying of the former Health Secretary: “When he came in, he came in with a lot of preconceptions.

“What Matt proved as a fellow camper is that he could earn stars. He wasn’t fazed by the trials he was put through and when you’re in that environment you need someone to bring the food back and he did that.”

Past I'm A Celebrity contestants return to the final

Mike also candidly shared about missing his wife Zara and their three children while he was away in the jungle and what it was like to receive a letter from Zara in the jungle: “I think this is probably the most hard work on the whole show, especially when you also have three little ones, he’s gone for that amount of time.

“Initially her [Zara] I wasn’t going to write the note because I wear them pretty close to the surface and I try to keep emotions down, so I was trying to get my brother to write the letter… but she was sneaky with me, she was a little sneak. one.”

Asked if he knew which members of the royal family watched the show, Mike said: “No, but I’m sure I’ll find out at some point, Christmas is almost here.

“Let’s see if some interesting presents come under that tree, there’s some sense of humor in the family, so I’ll wait for some interesting presents and see how many people have looked.”
