I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! viewers were left to chance during the show’s finale on Sunday night, which saw Lioness Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle.

But runner-up Owen Warner’s reaction to seeing his mum for the first time in three weeks left fans in tears.

After being announced in second place, hosts Ant and Dec directed the star to his mother, who was waiting behind the camera, prompting the actor to rush over to her and give her a big hug.
Viewers were left emotional about the reunion, with one person tweeting: “Still crying over the way Owen ran to hug his mum”, while another added: “I’m glad Jill won! But omg I went when Owen saw his mom.”
A third person commented: ‘Owen’s reunion with his mum almost made me cry omg and Jill won! I love! So happy,” while another added: “Owen runs to his mom and Jill took her crown. I don’t cry, you cry!!”

Meanwhile, many viewers also took to Twitter to praise Jill Scott for her well-deserved win. One person wrote: “Jill Scott won the women’s Euros and I’m a celebrity in the same year, things you love to see,” while another added: “Well done Jill Scott for being # QueenOfTheJungle. Fully deserved, but also relieved. You were!!”
Fans were left emotional as Owen hugged his mother
A third fan commented: “Yes Jill! #ImACelebrity such a humble and loving well deserved queen @JillScottJS8 you are even more of a legend’, while another added: ‘Jill’s response to the #ImACelebrity winner just shows what a lovely and humble human being she is… well deserved.’
Jill was in disbelief after being crowned this year’s winner, telling Ant and Dec: “I can’t believe it!”
Speaking about her fellow campers, she added: “These guys were absolutely incredible, we were a big team. I don’t think there should be one winner, we’re all winners of I’m A Celebrity.”
