I’m a celebrity star Mike Tindall revealed that he was not expecting his wife zara to write to when fellow campers received their letters from home earlier in the series.

Chat with Owen Warner, runner-up Good morning Great Britain On Monday, the former rugby star said the “hardest” thing about appearing on the show was being away from Zara and her three children Mia, eight, Lena, four, and Lucas, eight a year, for three weeks.

Asked by Entertainment editor Richard Arnold about his reunion with Zara, Mike said: “That’s probably the hardest thing about the whole show, especially when you’ve got the three little ones, is being gone for that period of time.
He went on to reveal that she secretly sent him a letter from home. “Initially she wasn’t going to write me the note because I wear them pretty close to the surface anyway and I try to put emotions underneath in this situation,” he said.

“I was trying to get my brother to write the letter so it would take my mickey out more and be a grounding one rather than bring it all back to the surface, but she was sneaky with me. She was a little sneaky, so she caught me a little bit.”
Zara sent Mike an unexpected letter from home while at camp
He added: “But we had a great camp that got everyone through whatever the wobble was and I think that was my biggest worry, coming from that team environment. If the dynamics were not right, it will be bad. but I had 11 great friends there and it made for a mean camp.”
Viewers will recall that Zara’s heartfelt note was read by Corrie star Sue Cleaver in last Sunday night’s episode.

The letter read: “Hi my love, we miss you so much and need some daddy hugs, but I’m glad you’re sharing them with your fellow campers.
“The girls enjoy sports and throw themselves into every moment, and the little man loves life, smashes it, learns a few new words. Z, M, L and L. x’.
