Clementi shared the photo holding her baby bump while posing with husband Dan McKernan and a farm animal named Mike.
“‘Tis #GivingTuesday and Mike’s sister-to-be would love it if you could help us continue to care for all her furry brothers and sisters here at @barnsanctuary,” she wrote.
McKernan, who runs the rescue farm in the US state of Michigan, reposted the announcement on his story, “Mike will be the best big brother.”
“New Resident Alert – In May 2023, we welcome a new member to the Barn Fam!” account posted later.
“Congratulations Dan and Kassandra, we can’t wait to meet the next Barn President.”
In a video message, McKernan announced that the baby’s arrival is expected “early May next year.”
Following the news, Clementi’s fans reacted that “she will be the most divine mother”.
“YAYAYAYAYYYY A BUBBY GIRL JOINING GANDA,” said another.
“How special it will be for your child to be raised with the sweet animals at the sanctuary! 💛”, observed another.
A fourth wrote that it was “Unbelievable news!!!😍”.
Clementi played Maddy Osborne on the Channel 7 series from 2013 to 2016.
The couple have been relatively private about their relationship, which they confirmed earlier this year.
Prior to his relationship with McKernan, Clementi was engaged to American actor Jacqueline Toboni since August 2021.
Clementi and Toboni often shared relationship updates on social media since they started dating in 2019, but their engagement announcements have since been deleted.
The Home and Away star also met another animal, TV star Dr Chris Brown.
Another H&A baby
Clementi isn’t the only former TV star to announce baby news.
Sam Frost said in September that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Jordie Hansen.
“I’m in a good phase now, I’m going full steam ahead, so it’s really good,” Frost told The Morning Show earlier this month about her pregnancy.
She said it was “a bit of a rollercoaster with illness”, sharing that she “thrown up on the plane” while traveling from the Sunshine Coast to Sydney.

“I had a vomit bag, I was throwing up everywhere.
“You’d be surprised, people are quite sympathetic to pregnant people throwing up on planes.
“So other than that it was great,” she laughed.
