UK electric vehicle (EV) smart charging provider EO Charging (EO) has adopted Jumptech’s charging point installation platform to support the launch of its new generation of EV chargers – the EO Genius 2 and EO Mini Pro 3.

The software platform is designed to simplify the installation process for residential and SME customers of the EO fleet, who will also be able to benefit from a fully managed end-to-end service.

EO said the ease of communication Jumptech’s software provides regarding property information and desired installation details, as well as order status, will improve their customers’ installation experience.

EO’s network of approved installation and distribution partners will be automatically notified by the platform when jobs are assigned to them. Upon notification, the software will guide them through the required process, simultaneously unlocking live updates, performance statistics and job competition data.

EO’s automotive partners will also have access, allowing them to tailor a personalized installation journey for their customers.

The platform will be available to EO customers and partners in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.

Tom Pollard, EO’s head of distribution sales, praised the partnership in a comment: “The Jumptech platform enables us to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience to a wide range of companies and EV drivers adopting our new generation of products – and gives our installers and distribution partners the tools to deliver high-quality service.”

EO has continued to grow throughout this year as well as being shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year (Domestic) 2022 by Chargepoint at the Electric Vehicle Innovation and Excellence Awards.

Meanwhile, Jumptech has been expanding at pace throughout 2022, signing partnerships with RAW Charging, Sevadis, ScottishPower, Hypervolt and YESSS EV & Energy.

It also expanded into the Netherlands this year thanks to a partnership with charging point installer VEBE, building on its expansion into Australia in 2021 through a partnership with charging specialist EVSE.

Beyond this, it has integrated its installer management platform with ev.energy’s smart EV owner charging software platform, while Indra, Easee UK, ProjectEV, TSG UK, Fulcrum, BP Pulse, Pod Point and Good Energy have adopted the software since the company adopted. was launched in 2018.

“We are delighted to support EO as they provide solutions for some of the world’s largest electric vehicle fleets and automotive partners who will benefit from their exciting new charging points,” added Phil Nunn, founder of Jumptech.
