“I didn’t plan on addressing this because it’s crazy,” the “Southern Girl City Lights” singer began in an Instagram post. “But being accused of photoshopping my kids’ abs (I can’t help but laugh) orβ¦ the polar opposite of ‘overtraining’ our kids makes me realize how weird our world has become body-wise and what is normal and what is not. I preach about body positivity and acceptance, but my kids have a massive amount of genetics and athletically built muscles, is that “weird”?
James Decker went on to note that her children are all involved in athletic activities, with Vivianne participating in gymnastics, Eric Jr. playing soccer and Forrest loving dance. “Let’s not choose what we normalize about bodies and accept all people and children,” Dancing with the stars continued the alum. “If we want to do ‘better’, then we do better. I am proud of my children and encourage them to live their dreams. So we’ll see each other at the 2032 Olympics wearing Bubbys jersey in the stands and dancing at Forrests rock concert.”
The Kittenish founder’s husband, 35, chimed in with his own thoughts, praising his wife for criticizing his “mama bear”.
The reality star originally posted a photo of her children on Saturday, November 26. While some followers questioned the kids’ muscular definition, others joked that they were jealous of the trio’s toned physiques.
“How come everyone has better bodies than me?” joke Alan Berstenwho partnered with James Decker in season 31 of DWTS. Country singer Kane Brown added: “Wait till I start doing 2 a day ππ they’re ripped!!”
Decker, for his part, gushed about how much fun the family had over the Thanksgiving holiday. “Football sun and beach time!!” he commented via Instagram. “Swallowed swallowed in our element.”
