The ‘Go List’ includes the following seven places, all worth visiting in 2023.
Puerto Iguazu, Argentina
Puerto Iguazu is located on the border between Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil and is home to Iguazu National Park, home to the falls known as Iguazu. Iguazu National Park, with its 275 waterfalls, is the main tourist attraction in Puerto Iguazu. The best months to visit are August and September, when the park has great hiking weather and the falls are at their highest water level.
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City, known as the “Pearl of the Far East”, is the ideal starting point for a trip through Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh, also known as Saigon, will captivate you with its delicious cuisine, exciting nightlife and attractive and chaotic atmosphere. As the largest city in the country, it can feel busy, but in a fun and exciting way.
Mariposa Grove, California
Home to some of the largest redwood trees on earth, Mariposa Grove is the ideal fusion of nature and history. Some of them are even said to be more than 3,000 years old! One of the most popular activities in Yosemite National Park is Mariposa Grove, which can be reached by shuttle bus or by walking a 4-mile loop trail. Travelers can even ride their horses up to the Grove to get a different perspective on the region.
Wadi Shab, Oman
Just outside of Muscat, Oman is Wadi Shab, a gorge with breathtaking views, pure water, undiscovered caves and unusual rock pools. You have to pay about $2.50 and cross a small river in less than a minute to get to the main trail. After crossing the river, you can hike through a real desert oasis.
Zanzibar, Tanzania
Nature lovers will love Zanzibar. On Mnemba Island, gorgeous beaches blend into stunning coral gardens, allowing snorkelers and divers to explore the stunning landscape below.
